The 46th European Working Group on Limited-Area Modelling (EWGLAM) and 31th Short Range NWP (SRNWP) EUMETNET meetings, hosted by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI), will take place 30 Sep - 3 Oct 2024 in Prague, the Czech Republic.
The meeting will start at 09:00 CEST on 30 September 2024 and is expected to end at 15:00 the latest on 3 October 2024.
Venue: Conference center of Charles University, Celetná 20, Prague 1.
The meeting will be organized in a hybrid form, thus remote participation will be possible. However, all participants, especially presenters are encouraged to participate in-person.
The special topic of the year is "Targeted high resolution measurements and forecasting applications".
Especially welcome are contributions concerning special observation campaigns and their usage in the NWP, as well as their application in testbeds.

The historic building complex with conference rooms, located between the Celetná street and the Ovocný trh square, is made up of several historic buildings connected into one functional unit. The main accessible entrance is located at Celetná 20.
Social Event
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, a guided tour from the Conference Center through the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Nerudova Street to the Prague Castle is proposed. We will meet in front of the Conference Center, Celetná 20, at 16:30.
All participants are cordially invited to a joint dinner at the Klášterní Pivovar Strahov, Strahovské nádvoří 301, starting at 19:00, see on google maps.

A block booking of 30 rooms each is prepared in three Prague hotels. Please note that hotel room rates on the open market are subject to change, and if you book early, the standard rate may be even better than the block rate. When travelling from the Airport, you can take a public transport bus which departs every few minutes from outside both terminals. Line 100 to Zličín (Metro B-line), line 119 to Nádraží Veleslavín (Metro A-line) or line 191 to Anděl (Metro B-line).
